Acceptable Use Policy 1) Absolutely NO spam, period. That includes sending unsolicited mail from ANYWHERE with a return address hosted on or affiliated with an address hosted on our server. Spam costs the customer in the longrun. Bandwidth and investigation is better focused elsewhere, such as how to continue providing the best rates for the services we have to offer! 2) Useage (distribution or sharing) of copyrighted material using your given web space is not tolerated, period. While sharing a music, picture, or video file is ok if you are the original author of the content being shared, copyright violations are serious business that we do not tolerate. That and the fact that file sharing of this nature usually involves useage of bandwidth that is not intended for this purpose. Having a domain is supposed to be fun, and we try to keep the price in that "fun" zone. The only way we can continue to do this is if you do not abuse our available resources. 3) Please have fun and be creative! We do not tolerate illegal content on our server. There is no need to go into a discussion regarding what is illegal and what is art. We do not blur the lines for you. If illegal content is found to be housed on our servers, it puts ALL of our members at risk for having their legitimate content taken offline in the event of an investigation. Illegal content can range from music to art that is "pirated" or simply illegal. We all know what can or cannot be viewed as illegal, so do not use our servers for any illegal purposes. Instead, if you can focus on having fun and being creative (see the Clients page for ideas :) this will allow us to continue keeping our AUP as short as it is! After all, how can you have fun and be creative if you have to spend all day reading about rules and regulations? |
